About Starburst

Starburst, also known as Starburst OG, and Starburst Kush is another hybrid that is gaining quite a bit of popularity. It has some of the strongest parent strains around in the form of Pre-989 Bubba Kush and Fire OG, which makes it a contender for best all rounder. The THC content tends to be a little all over the place online. Some publications claim it is as low as 11%, while others have it as high as 33%. In our experience, we have encountered it somewhere in the middle, at around 18%. It also has a pretty high amount of CBD in it, with as much as 8%.

This strain is great at combating the effects of depression, insomnia and stress, which can be attributed to its CBD content. Some patients have even reported that it helps with acute pain and headaches. Like most strains it does have some mild side effects of dry mouth and dry eyes, so if you already suffer from either be sure to talk with your physician before diving into Starburst.

The flavor profile is quite fruity, as it exudes the tastes of berry, lemon and tropical fruit.

The next time you visit your local dispensary, be sure to ask your bud tender about Starburst, you won’t regret it.
